MA Design
Sept '23 - Sept '24
Studied for my MA Design (Illustration) on the new intensive 12-month course at Sheffield Hallam University, after having to defer my place for several years due to personal circumstances.
During this programme, I learnt so much about design thinking, material culture, interdisciplinarity, critical futuring, design fictions, positionality, feminist theory - the list goes on.
A big thanks goes out to the MA Design team with their wealth of skills, knowledge, and care for the craft.

SHU MAD Postgrad Show Social Media
T: 13th - 23rd September 2024
P: Hybrid
I was the social media personnel for the MA Design 'MAD GRAD' show at the HPO featuring works from across the various disciplines including MA Animation and Photography in addition to the traditional design subjects (illustration, graphic design, product, fashion, packaging, design for health, interaction, and interior).

Labour of Love - MA Final Project
T: 3rd Trimester of MA Design 23/24

Labour of Love was a research project investigating the visual language and history of sex work in the post-medieval Western World.

Designing for The End - 2nd MA Design Project
T: 2nd Trimester of MA Design 23/24

Designing for The End was a live brief collaborating with St Luke's Hospice in Sheffield, exploring death, dying and grief through illustration in the modern day.

Pansyland - Initial MA Design Project
T: 1st Trimester of MA Design 23/24

Started as an exploration of cultural heritage, craft, and critical speculative design, Pansyland emerged as a design fiction in which to situate ongoing narratives around queerness, domesticity, identity, labour and society.
